Paper map view
- "Magnifying glass": Shows GPS position on a topographic map (must be a paper map based on UTM-WGS84)
- Indicates the corner coordinates for the current one kilometer square in a UTM grid
- Move the map pin directly over the "magnifying glass" map view
World map view / Online map
- The online map service in iOS 6 is the brand new Apple Maps service, with a simplified static Google Maps view available as a complement during a transition period. (In iOS 4 and 5, only Google Maps are available.)
- Shows the position on the online map
- Indicates the current UTM map grid square on the online map
- Keeps the UTM square centered when moving
- Move the map pin directly on the online map
- Shows either map or satellite image
Coordinate converter
- Convert WGS84 (latitude/longitude) to/from UTM (WGS84 based)
- Convert coordinates to/from national Swedish grid: RT90 and SWEREF 99 TM
- Convert the iPhone GPS position from lat/long to UTM coordinates
- Fast manual coordinate conversion
Export (share) coordinates
NOTE! All features in the ”Share” menu of the app are currently (17 Feb. 2016) not working due to a bug!
- Export to the "Maps" app
- Export to the new Google Maps app (requires iOS 6.0 or higher)
- Export to the Google Earth app
- Export to other apps supporting KML files (through the Google Earth button)
- Share as an e-mail
- Share as an SMS
- E-mail messages will include the UTM coordinates, the latitude/longitude, a Google Maps link and a KML file (for use with Google Earth)
- SMS messages will include the UTM coordinates and a Google Maps link
- Generated map pins on Google Earth and Google Maps will be tagged with the UTM coordinates (does not apply to SMS messages)
UTM zones
- Fully automatic UTM zone handling (including the special zones around Norway and Svalbard)
- Optional use of a fixed (manual) UTM zone
Error handling
- Smart error handling with suggestions on how to proceed (e.g. for wrong UTM zone and position outside defined grid)

- The Help tab provides a comprehensive manual within the app
Network coverage
- The online map (the "World Map" tab) can only be used when the iPhone is connected to the internet.
- All other features of the app can be used even when hiking outside cellular network coverage.

Requirements/Compatibility
- iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4 or iPhone 3GS with iOS 4.3 or higher.
- Remember that you will also need a paper map with a printed UTM WGS84 grid.
